What Are Cellular Blinds?

Cellular Blinds are often called ‘honeycomb blinds’, ‘honey cell blinds’ or similar because they have honeycomb shaped ‘cells’. This style of blind is the best internal blind option for insulation – the cells are designed to trap air, helping you maintain a consistent temperature in your home or office.

They are available in a wide range of fabric options, from light-filtering through to complete block-out fabrics. You can view some of the available fabrics on the Texstyle website. This style of blind is easy to use and can be installed on windows, doors and skylights – they are one of the very few blind options available skylight.

The Process:

Once you’ve decided on cellular blinds, the next step is to organise a free measure and quote – we’ll send a sales representative to your home or office to take measurements, show you fabric samples and provide you with an on-the-spot quote. If you’re happy with the quote then we’ll take a 25% deposit and place your order.

The time frame from order to delivery and installation is approximately 3 weeks.

Phoenix Blinds offer roman blinds supply and installation services in the Illawarra region. Roman blinds are an attractive style of blind often favoured by hotels and resorts. They work on a very similar system to roller blinds, however rather than rolling the fabric up, it stacks it up neatly. When fully extended, the fabric is smooth and doesn’t have any creases or bumps.

Our roman blinds are available in a wide range of fabric and colour options including sheer light-filtering fabrics as well as thick block-out fabrics.

We offer all our customers a free in-home consultation with a professional sales consultant. 2. Visit our Illawarra Showroom:

Visit our showroom to compare the different styles of blinds and speak to our friendly team about which option will suit your home or office the best. If you bring your plans and measurements with you then we can give you quotes for any styles that you like. We will need to do an on-site check-measure before we can finalise your order.

3. Use Our Online Quoting Form:

Fill in our online quote request form by uploading your plans and measurements and we will email you a quote. This is a great option for comparing pricing between different styles and getting a feel for the budget required, but we will need to do an on-site check measure before we can finalise and place your order.

Once you have approved your quote (and we have finalised all measurements), we’ll invoice you for your deposit and then place your order. Roman blinds and other internal blinds have an average turn-around time of 3 weeks from order confirmation to delivery and installation.

Most of the internal blinds products that we carry at Phoenix Blinds are manufactured using fabrics and components sourced from Australian-based companies. Our preferred fabric supplier is Texstyle, however we can work with other brands where requested.

We provide a 2-year warranty on all componentry and installation. Fabrics sourced from Texstyle come with a 5-year warranty.

How Do They Work?

Suitable for any home or office location, Veri Shades mean that you don’t have to choose a single option: sheer and soft like curtains, or versatile and light blocking like blinds. They boast the shape of blinds, along with the flexibility and option to draw them back.  But they also offer the style and ease of curtains, with no weights or chords and the ability to walk right through them. The folds in the fabric are incredibly light and alternately positioned, so that you can switch between both opaque and translucent options.
